Club Relationships

Organisation: We have a constantly updated comprehensive database of players with appropriate levels and costs.

Targeting: We do a full player analysis to target the most appropriate club.

Squad Management: Players are listed by position with their qualities and skills in and out of possession and this is is directly linked to clubs’ Model of Play.

Expertise: Our 3 essential areas of expertise are Football Knowledge, Research and Legal.

We prefer one point of contact at the highest level at each club to encourage a strong trusting relationship

We try to help clubs by knowing their priority positional requirements throughout the season and not just during transfer windows through our confidential relationship and regular contact

We try to encourage confidential sharing of a brief guide on club transfer policy and budget if appropriate

We have the expertise to understand the Coach’s basic Model of Play to help target the right players.

Massimo Franchi is the founder and chairman of MFsports Ltd. He has over 26 years’ experience in LAW. He also is the Managing partner within his Law practise and has a wealth of experience in Criminal and Civil law. He registered as a Football Agent in 2005. He has been instructed regularly to represent clients in the UK courts. He also acts as Chairman of the Judicial Panel Tribunal and Appeal Tribunal for the Football Association.

He has also represented clients at the Financial Services Authority Tribunal in London and at the Boxing Board of Control in London. Massimo has extensive experience in dealing with cases which have carried a strong media interest and accordingly has the relevant experience of handling the particular pressures that go with the sale or transfer of a player, skilfully protecting the client’s interest.

His extensive experience is put to good use in negotiations of contracts and represents companies in the top 100 companies in the UK. He expects the Company to maintain high standards professionalism at all times: Trust, Confidentiality and always doing the best for our clients within the confines of the rules of the game.

Massimo’s role within MFsports is handling all contracts and negotiations with players, agents and clubs. He is fluent in Italian.

Dave McDonough has a background in professional football as a coach devising coaching methodology and creating best practice for technico-tactical performance. He has also led recruitment and performance analysis at clubs in the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga. He has worked closely with top coaches from Europe and South America. He has worked with the players to raise their level of performance both individually and collectively to achieve and maintain success.

He has enjoyed working at the highest level in the Champions League and has helped contribute to team success in three of the biggest European leagues. He has many years coaching experience at all levels and age groups. He has also closely analysed the structure of football operations at professional clubs to enable him to advise on ‘best structure and practices’ where appropriate. Dave acts as Sporting Director to ensure players and clubs are appropriately matched.
